Interdisciplinary Artist

Xiao is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with installation and audiovisual practices. The work engages multiple senses and unfolds through time and space, centering on lived experience, perception, and presence.

With a background in music, engineering, and digital product design, Xiao is currently pursuing an MFA in Music Technology at CalArts and writing a book on universal philosophy inspired by Laozi and the concept of yin-yang.

Based in Los Angeles, California.
